Royal Oak Investment Review: A Project of Scammers?

Royal Oak Investment - logo
Rating:
1.6

Royal Oak Investment appears as an experienced broker that offers to join the community of traders and get a high income. However, when checking its site, we did not find the appropriate license from the regulator. Also, the issue of the legal address remains open. We will compile a review of the broker to identify possible evidence of fraud.

Registration and Client Portal Review

The design of Royal Oak Investment resembles the interface of brokers, which we have already reviewed many times. You can watch a useless video where the broker promises to discover new technologies, make a difference, and explore the future.

Royal Oak Investment - official site

Royal Oak Investment has prepared the best conditions for its wealthy clients. They can take advantage of the help of a personal mentor, receive funds on a priority basis, and attend exclusive events as a guest. However, let’s find out what is actually at least for ordinary traders.

Registration

The registration takes a couple of minutes. The user must enter personal data:

  • Your name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Country of residence.

Then you need to come up with a strong password. The only question is, how can the client restore it if the activation link does not come to the email?

Royal Oak Investment - client portal

The client portal is not very original. The main attention is paid to the terminal, which we have repeatedly met. You can add documents for verification, deposit your account, and view your trading operations. Besides, there is also a referral system feature.

At the same time, Royal Oak Investment does not provide a demo account. You can admire the charts and quotes, but it’s impossible to open a trade without real money in your balance.

Royal Oak Investment Trading Conditions

Royal Oak Investment invites clients to discover their potential in various financial markets. In turn, the broker promises a comfortable trading environment.

Account Types Review

At the beginning of trading, as always with such brokers, you need to choose the account type that suits your needs.

Name Minimum Deposit, USD Leverage
Trial 250 Up to 1:100
First-Time Investor 10K 1:200
Build Your Future 50K 1:300
Build Your Monthly Account 100K 1:400
Royal Oak Heritage 250K Unknown

And that’s not all. Royal Oak Investment has developed three VIP accounts: Luxe, Eminent, and Leading. To open them, it will take from 250 thousand to 1 million dollars.

Probably, they should have heavenly conditions for a trader. However, in reality, they simply do not exist. Each VIP account description contains a link to the registration form. By the way, the same thing happens with regular accounts. There is no division into accounts in your client portal.

Trading Platform

The Royal Oak Investment workflow is carried out on a standard WebTrader. It can be opened in a smartphone, PC, or tablet browser. The software allows you to use the basic functions for placing orders, setting up charts and applying technical indicators.

Royal Oak Investment - terminal

To get acquainted with the software, you don’t even have to log in, as it is available via a direct link from the site. Nothing outstanding in it. The platform rebooted several times while writing the review. Obviously, this can affect trading with real money in the most unfortunate way.

Royal Oak Investment — Deposit and Withdrawal of Funds

The broker offers the following payment methods:

  • Cards
  • Wire transfer
  • Crypto.

You can deposit your account only after the verification procedure. Withdrawals or refunds are made in the same way that the funds were deposited. The commission for withdrawal is 1%, but not less than 30 dollars.

Verification

Royal Oak Investment requests a standard list of documents:

  • ID
  • Proof of address
  • Credit card copies.

Additional documents may be requested if necessary. In addition, we did not find fields for uploading docs in the client portal. The client may have to send them via email to an unknown person. Of course, such a KYC is not secure.

Education and Partnership

Like similar companies, Royal Oak Investment offers newcomers a gentleman’s set:

  • E-books
  • Glossary
  • Asset specifications
  • Popular questions and answers.

All this is not original, as copied from other resources. At best, the source is TradingView. By the way, where the trading platform gets its liquidity from is a mystery.

For some reason, it’s not indicated on the Royal Oak Investment site. Nevertheless, in your client portal, there is such a nice addition as a referral program. Its conditions are:

  • A one-time bonus of 250 euros with a deposit amount of over 1000 euros
  • 10% bonus from each referral’s deposit (up to a total of 25 thousand euros).

The referral will receive 500 euros once with a deposit above 1000 euros. To participate in the program, it is enough to generate an invitation link. By the way, the amounts here are indicated in euros, on the dashboard, they are in pounds, in the description of accounts they are in dollars. Mess!

Is Royal Oak Investment a Scam?

We will not just blame the company for the low quality of service and the lack of documents. For this, we have real evidence, which is accompanied by screenshots.

The legal status is unclear because the company does not disclose it. If Royal Oak Investment has a Canadian phone number, then the firm must have an office in that country. However, such a legal entity is not registered in the public registry https://www.ic.gc.ca/.

Registry

Besides, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is mentioned in the “Terms and Conditions”. However, in the registry of this state, there are many different “Royals” and not a single Royal Oak Investment. So the company doesn’t actually exist in this world.

Royaloakinvestment.com Domain Info

The founders do not say a word about the duration of work, although they call their project a global brand. Whois helped to clarify the situation. The domain appeared in July 2022. What kind of experience can we talk about in this case?

Domain check

Judging by the Internet Archive, Royal Oak Investment was only launched on the site in September. Very promising.

Contacts Review

To contact Royal Oak Investment there is a phone, email, message form, and online chat. Please note that you can call from Monday to Friday only until 1pm GMT.

Live chat also works only during the daytime, as in the evening it turns into a form of feedback to your email. In the afternoon, we managed to talk with the operator and ask where we could upload docs for verification. Alas, all activity on the site is possible only after talking on the phone.

Pros and Cons

  • Instant response during working hours via chat.
  • Slow software.
  • No demo account.
  • Verification nuances are unclear.
  • No legal status.
  • Just a few months of work.

    Of course it's a scam

I went to Google to read reviews about Royal Oak Investment when their operator called me and began to offer super-duper service. And I couldn’t find a single normal story. Everyone had some problems with the withdrawal, then with something else. Either the trouble was due to the trading platform itself. And the employees do not answer anything normal. They are clearly not ready to communicate.

I think Royal Oak Investment are scammers

The phone number does not match the place of registration. And we don’t know anything more about it. The broker does not provide any documents that would speak of normal registration and work. I hope the site will be closed permanently soon so as not to deceive users.

    Managers are crooks

In general, I like Royal Oak Investment. At least what is written on their website 🙂 But the support is disgusting. I tried several times to chat with them to find out some points, and all the time I was disappointed 🙁 so the company needs to pay attention to this …

    Hard to figure out

There is no real and accurate information on its website that could at least clarify something about future trading. This is very confusing at first. You think that the staff will help you, but they are not. They, on the contrary, will not tell you anything, but will begin to pressure them to make you deposit more money. Some kind of fake.

    Fraud!!

I declare with full responsibility that Royal Oak Investment are scammers and swindlers! My orders were blocked and my balance was frozen. The last time I tried to log in was a couple of days ago, but in the end, my account was still blocked. I write letters to technical support and they ignore me. They generally keep quiet. And when it was necessary to deposit the account, they called and wrote! Lost a few thousand dollars because of them!
